During Medlink you will be given lectures and hands-on instruction in the use of your stethoscope. This work will be set in the context of teaching ‘clinical thinking’, that is the ability to gather physical evidence and use it to reach a diagnosis.
Consistent with Medlink’s approach you will be given support both before and after the event. Prior to the conference from you Medlink student area (which you will log into using your student id), you will be able to download and listen to a range of normal lung and heart sounds taken from different auscultation points. Following Medlink and using your stethoscope you will be able to download and listen to a number of abnormal heart and lung sounds.
