SOME OF THE PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

• Gain unique access into hospitals. Previous students have spent time in the intensive care units of the Ronald Reagan hospital, ranked the 3rd best hospital in America.
• Gain access to labs and learn more about our American Academic Board's research.
• One on one interview and application advice from James Ridgeway and the opportunity to discuss any questions and concerns about the application process. This is an opportunity to make your application stand out.
• MCAT practice test - Sit a practice MCAT exam and find out what it takes to get into an American medical school.
• Tour the UCLA campus - Find out what life is like for a British student studying abroad.
• Clinical practical sessions - Expand your knowledge with practical sessions, build on what you have learnt at Medsim.
• One on one interviews with Medical students, find out your strengths and weaknesses.

DATES AND COSTS

• The duration of the UCLA visit and program will be from Sunday July 18th to Saturday July 24th 2010.
• Accommodation will be on the UCLA campus and will include Breakfast and Evening meals.
• Accommodation will be in single, air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms.
• Return flight from London to Los Angeles.
• Students accompanied by members of the Medlink Team throughout the entire journey and week at UCLA.
• Due to the special arrangements necessary for the hospital visits, numbers will be limited to no more than 10 students on a first come basis.
• The total cost which includes flights and accommodation as described above will be £3,200.

PLEASE NOTE:

• To attend Medlink at UCLA, students must have attended Medlink and Medsim in early July 2010.

BOOKING DETAILS

You need to pay an initial non-refundable deposit of £800 to cover your flight and secure your place on the course. In March we will contact you again to arrange the balance of payment.

The balance of £2400 can be made as a single payment or 3 monthly payments of £800.
