Medlink Practicals
Medicine is a 'hands on' profession which Medlink reflects through an
exciting range of supervised clinical sessions and scenarios. As a Medlink
student you will interact with actual patients, encounter emergency scenarios,
interactive surgery and the opportunity to be trained to use your own free stethoscope, an
essential clinical tool that will equip you to conduct patient examinations
at Medical School and beyond.
Working With Your Team
Modern medicine is about interacting and communicating with others. During the presentation and
the supervised practical session, you will be introduced to the art and science of diagnosis
with a special emphasis on medical problem solving within your group. Teamwork
is essential and you will find the professional and social overlap as you work
with your friends and make new ones.
Supervised Auscultation Sessions
During your supervised stethoscope practical (auscultation) you
will use your stethoscopes on 'real people' to experience first hand the
challenge and excitement of examination and diagnosis.
Post Conference Support
Preparing for Medical School is a huge challenge and our support DOES NOT end with the conference. Through the Medlink Newsletter and

updates, information and additional tools for your stethoscope as and when they
become available.
