We are delighted to offer Medlink delegates an optional additional two days of presentations and a project whose theme is the fascinating field of pathology.
Places will be restricted and offered on a first to apply basis.
To view the results and projects from last year on Stem Cell Research, click the blue button to the right.
Topics covered include:
The forensic pathologist: murders, victims and medical detectives.
Autopsy: step by step – a practical guide.
Bio-terrorism: a new role for the pathologist
Pathology: careers and opportunities.
Pathology Project I: cutting edge research in medicine.
Pathology Project II: your research project
Biopsy: pathology against the clock.
Cancer: the pathologist’s protocol.
Neuropathology: diseases of the brain explored.
Research: opportunity to perform genuine research and to have your work published electronically by Medlink through your pathology project
Virtual Pathology
In addition to the physical course there is also a Virtual Pathology course that will contain nearly all of the same content as the actual 'physical' pathology course. Those taking this option will be able to attend the course online. This course will run from February 2011 and can only be booked if attending the Medlink
2010 conference. A superb opportunity to take the course from your own home or school at your own pace.
