Special Invitation - Teacher Support Day
Medical School Applications
Sponsored by Medlink
on Wednesday 17th June 2009
at The University of Nottingham
As a teacher you may be called upon to advise and support those
young people whose ambition is to become a doctor and whose dream depends on a successful application to Medical School.
Because medicine, medical education and the application process is an ever-changing field, Medlink would like to bring you up to date and to help you to give the very best advice to your students.
Presentations will include:
- Applications to Medical School
- Admissions tests & how they are used: BMAT, UKCAT, GAMSAT
- Graduate entry to Medical School: Planning an alternative route
- Role of the Internet in Medical School Applications
- Plus an opportunity to share concerns and suggestions
Medlink has been offering information and support to prospective medical students for two decades and in recognition of the importance of the teacher’s role in the application process is delighted to offer sponsorship to this event.
Places are strictly limited and will therefore be restricted initially to one delegate per school on a first to book basis. If further places are required, please email us and we will contact you should we be able to offer additional places.
Details of Teacher Support Day 2010 will be posted here later in the year
